PUBLISHER.COM
The straw that broke the camels back. At least 2 major publishers are going into a joint venture to sell books directly on the internet, avoiding middle men like Ingraham wholesalers, Barnesandnoble.com, and Amazon.
Not only will they be able to sell at lower prices but also at better margins. This will be a joint publisher business which was spearheaded by Random House. One very interesting cut on this is that highly anticipated bestsellers would be available here first, before they are available anywhere else. I do not think the FTC will consider this a monopoly.

Can this be far away for CDs and videos? Bye Bye Amazon. It was an interesting mania.

5 new hot internet IPOs this week in a week mkt. Several other Large non . com IPOs, Huge ATT bond. Tulip shares becoming more plentiful, taking the gamblers out of the stock, leaving only the value investors. One of those hot IPOs that end up less faltering by not making a 600% 1 day gain and the whole sector may pause.
Incredibly, there are some that have no substance and just insults. I always wondered who bought amzn at 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, 199...
I thought they may be insane .. but apparently a lot of them ended up here..saying that when amzn is at 120, another buying opportunity, 110 agreat buying opportunity
