Another question if you don't mind, it is said that IBM has
process technology as good as(if not better) than Intel then
how come they have problem making PPC running high Mhz(I am
assuming PPC is in the same generation as P6).


Like the Cyrix M1 and M2, the PPC 604 and it's successors were built to maximize instructions executed per clock. The increased complexity has the direct effect of depressing clock speeds. M1, M2, and PPC were all built in leading edge IBM fabs at low megahertz.

In contrast, Alpha and K7 were intentionally architected to achieve high megahertz.
