I'm a little confused. Develcon has agreed to be bought by Vianet for a nickel a share, which I thought was ridiculous to the point of being criminal; yet for several weeks after the announcement people are still buying its shares for 3 and 4 times that fire sale price. What gives? Is it still a possibility that Develcon can restructure the deal and reprice the shares, or are buyers betting on the likelihood that shareholders will refuse to ratify the deal? Do we still have that option?
