I have been working on a strategy to play earnings and settled on the cup and handle as my favorite pattern to find good intermediate term holds (typically 3 months). Since I found Market Gems I have started tracking her earnings plays and not just stocks that I found on my own. Some other recent ones were PRGS, ANN, KSS. I certainly will want to help out with this new thread she is considering.

There's an interesting article in today's(Monday) Investors Business Daily about playing cup and handle breakouts in internet stocks. Well worth reading. Looks to me like ATHM and XCIT are both showing breakouts. Do we agree ?
