Can you trade OTC stocks with Cybertrader or the new CyberX?
I realize you can't with MB.

WHO THE HELL SELLS 1 SHARE OF STOCK?

Well I did once. Why? In a class action law suit, I received 2 shares of US Surgical from the settlement. Then US Surgical was acquired by Tyco International and my 2 USS shares became $26 and 1 share of TYC. I sold the 1 TYC via Brown with a market order to get a $5 commission.

Ok, so this isn't common and it didn't screw up an ECN but it is ONE reason to sell 1 share <G>

Hi Gary,

Thank you for an outstanding post. I find the information you gave to be very helpful.

Until your suggestion, it never occurred to me to subscribe to both Cyber and MBT. I assume you're running each on separate CPU's for the purpose of backup, or do you use one CPU with multiple monitors?

Also may I ask...what type connection(s) do you use?

Thank you,
Bill

>>WHO THE HELL SELLS 1 SHARE OF STOCK?<<

I sold short 1 share of CMGI the other day by accident. Did you buy that?

I was doing a short test on the stock and scrolled the price up to get it out of range but wasn't watching what I was doing. I had the scroll feature set to 1/32 instead of my usual 1/16, so the amount of time that I scrolled didn't take me out of range, and oops! I was short a share (and up about $5 in the next minute, which doesn't quite cover the round-trip).

So, I called MB and, seeing as I was in positive territory with it, they graciously took the share off my hands <g>.

Gary,

I've just started paying attention to the money flow indicator in Real Tick. Seems to me it could be made a lot more valuable if you could chart it. Do you or does anyone know of a system with a feature that does that?

I've been working with basic charts and moving averages so far and am looking for more sentiment indicators.

Thanks,
wily
