Why does MSFT not just acquire a cable company and work out deals with the rest of the bunch. Just buy whatever is allowed under US regulations and then be in a better position to talk to other cable cos.---they will be one of the group.
Why not spinning off an investment company (while MSFT holds 49% interest in it) which starts acquiring these kinds of businesses--whether it is cable or any other alternative for the net.
