I've heard that they are way ahead of US in a great many areas, S.O. I can only hope it is true...however, with thousands of miles of transparent borders and so many US customers, it is only a matter of time before we storm the bastions north of the 49th and Canucks will be out of money also!

They will get a taste of their "readiness vs. slobs US Banks" during the first 11 days of January 2000 when not one thin dime will be removed from US banks due to already announced BANK HOLIDAYS.

O/49r

Now BANK HOLIDAYS down here and bank's observing FEDERAL holidays are two different types of holidays, ok?

Re The Canadian banks are all saying that they are Y2K compliant

Hi Stephen,

Hey, you got the brochure too!

I read all through the one from the Bank of Montreal and said great until I read the disclaimer paragraph on the back of the last page that said basically 'we are not responsible for any statements within'.
