Melinda, this post is classic liberal think. If anyone mentions the word homosexual in a derogatory way that is considered "hate" speech.

Silencing free speech might was on the campus of Berkeley, but it won't here on SI.

It's ok to spout all the hate toward right wing conservatives, churches, Jerry Falwell etc. etc. you want, but it's not ok to make a correlation between being homosexuality and ones willingness to accept the Presidents behavior in the oval office huh?

Then more typical name calling, this time "skinhead" "gay bashing".

Typical liberal response. Seen over and over in the mainstream news departments.

I don't know the statistics but I would be willing to bet their have been many more deaths inflicted on people who chose to worship god as christians, than those inflicted on homosexuals.

I don't necessarily agree with Johannes views on this issue. But he has every right in the world to express them. Your attempt at controlling free speech is pathetic at best.

Perhaps you need to join your (free thinking) liberal sister in the downloading of "browserware software". :-)

Michael

>Huh?<

I thought I made myself perfectly clear initially. Nevertheless for your benefit I will spell the thing out better. The sort of liberal empty-headed blindness seen in the article to which I briefly responded is precisely what we might expect from an unrepentant homosexual like Andy Sullivan. As a result there is nothing impressive about one's use of the article to try insulting true conservatives. Sullivan has a vested interest in being blind to Clinton's failings.

>Why should homosexuals repent?<

Because they attempt to sell what is morally and philosophically abominable as if it were morally and philosophically acceptable.

>If anyone should repent it is the hateful Christian Right Wing Conservatives.<

Well I really do not disagree that I should repent whenever sin is brought to my mind, and in such cases I rarely hesitate to do so. Nevertheless I would have you understand, madam, that my denouncing the philosophical compost presented to us by homosexuality is not unacceptable hatred. There are some things all decent people should hate. I do not hate any homosexual, at least not because they are homosexual. Indeed while living away from my normal home I would sometimes visit a few homosexuals in NYC to perform certain musical works. They both were wonderful people. But this has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the fundamental philosophy of homosexuality is an utter abomination to my God and to humanity, and so when others attempt to force this philosophical and moral depravity upon me, I must defend against it. There is nothing for which I must repent here.

>I am really over this anti-gay talk. Aren't there enough gay bashings going on for you? Aren't there enough deaths?<

Well. You see, all this is really quite irrelevant. I do not advocate murdering homosexuals. I advocate that our society utterly reject allowing homosexuality to be thrust upon others against their will. Homosexuals are free to eat feces, engage in fisting, sleep with hundreds of men on average, and engage in a host of other remarkably disgusting activities without my even so much as thinking of them. Nevertheless the moment they attempt to force the Boy Scouts, businesses, churches, and average citizens to accept them, I am compelled by reason to resist. This is what I speak of, not “bashing” or murdering anyone.

>You talk that trash and the next thing you know some intellectually challenged person in your group who can't articulate his hate goes out and bashes someone.<

And when he does there are laws to address him. These same laws await the fiends of Act up!, the leader of which has openly called for armed conflict against members of society. That there are lunatics in both camps should not serve as even the slightest proscription of a member of those camps to exercise his right to free speech. If you think if should, then too bad. As long as you liberals are not yet killing us, I will speak my mind. Indeed I will speak it even when you begin to kill us.

>Are you really just a skin head with a computer?<

Madam do not do this to yourself.

(gotta run)
