The following is a "long term" comparison of each stock in the group of 41 since 12/31/96, a period of approximately 3 years and 3 months in duration. During that period, 19 stocks have advanced, 1 stayed the same, and 21 are "underwater". The 5 top stocks in the group are up over 100 percent. The bottom 7 stocks are down over 50 percent. The entire group is up only 11 percent over the more than 3 year period, while during the same period, the SOX-X is up 56 percent.
