We finally got a tidbit of news from NPCT that tells me that PI
technology may soon find its place in a very lucrative market being
Smart Card. I see many applications for this technology not only in
Smart Cards but in baggage and package tracking and also in inventory
tracking. Today everything is pointing to miniaturization as witnessed
recently in cell phones and Palm Pilots to name a couple. I think you
will see the day of carrying around your PC in your pocket. I see the US
eventually going to a Smart Card concept as a way to prevent fraudulent
transactions and a 100% certainty in E commerce. This is one of the
ideas Intel has used by giving all the new Pentium III's a code which
gives each customer more assurance in purchasing products over the web.
Company management is on its way to Europe this weekend to meet with
several parties in Europe regarding PI. Through my research I have found
three main companies that use Smart Card those being Motorola,Phillips
and Siemens. Lets all watch closely current developments and I
highly recommend watching www.ragingbull.com for any more news
annnoucments
Here is Kathy Knights research and the last news annoucement this past
week.

We have news on NPCT. I believe it to be a prelude to more positive
information coming from the company over the next few weeks. Below the
press
release I have posted some information in regard to the SmartCard
Industry.

Did you know that by the year 2001, 4 billion Smart Cards will be in
use?

Some Smart Card Interesting Facts!

They cannot be used by others if your card is lost or stolen.
Information,
data and e-mail, can be sent safely, privately and securely by telephone
or
computer with a Smart Card.

They provide a secured identification system, including a PIN number,
fingerprint, photograph, voice, or retina scan, right on the card, for
instant
verification.
Money for purchases can be downloaded from a bank account by cell phone
or
computer, televisions, participating ATMs from anywhere in the world on
to a
Smart Card.

Purchases will soon be able to be made through the Internet, televisions
and
telephones without having to give your credit card number.

All medical records, including x-rays, health insurance and medical
benefits
can be stored on Smart Cards.

Campus Smart Cards are being used to hold student identification,
tuition and
grades, as well as money for on- and off- campus purchases, phone calls
and
public transportation.

Food stamps and other government benefits are now being distributed on
Smart
Cards.

A Smart Card can be used for identification, entry into hotel rooms, for

purchases, international phone calls, reservations, any travel
arrangements.

Just to mention a few!

Also I wanted to post the last news annoucement on ECIC. I like this
stock just based on its added value and the fact its not giving out tons
of stock to fund its
recent developments. Here is the latest news:

TULSA, Okla., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Lone Wolf Energy, Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: LWEI)
announced that it has received the financing
commitment to complete the first $500,000 order for a
concrete block manufacturing plant under a Master
Equipment Sales Agreement with Eagle Capital
International, Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: ECIC). The
sale is expected to be complete within two
weeks.

Under the agreement, Lone Wolf has the first right to
sell a minimum of ten concrete block
manufacturing plants to Eagle over the next 4 to 7
years. The plants will be used by Eagle and its joint
venture partners to help meet previously announced
commitments to furnish the patented IMSI
Insulated Reinforced Masonry System or equivalent
technology in international building markets.

Lone Wolf's agreement with Eagle for the initial
block plant under the Master Equipment Sales
Agreement will entitle Lone Wolf to receive a minimum
payment of $12,000 per month for seven years
and a monthly production payment of $0.0375 per block
for every block produced by the plant in
excess of the first 160,000 blocks produced during
the previous month. Block plants have an
estimated production capacity of approximately 5
million blocks per year over a minimum 10-year
useful life, assuming normal maintenance and working
conditions.

Also keep in mind both NPCT and ECIC are reporting companies which is a
plus.

This stock is poised for a big move this week.

CALGARY, April 8 /CNW/ - Global Thermoelectric Inc. (TSE: GLE) today
announced that it has achieved record power output in the first test of a new
proprietary design solid oxide fuel cell. The breakthrough in materials and
construction will allow Global to address new opportunities in
telecommunications, automotive and residential power generation markets.
Fuel cells operate by chemically combining oxygen and hydrogen to produce
electricity with water as a by-product. They are much more efficient than
internal combustion engines and produce only small amounts of pollutants as
compared to other energy sources. Global's solid oxide cells have the added
advantage of being able to use natural gas or propane directly as fuel,
without complex external processing systems.
''The power output per unit of cell area at 800 degrees C from the new
design was 100% higher than any other we've ever tested'' said Global
President and C.E.O. Jim Perry. ''This high power density should allow us to
significantly shrink the physical size of future fuel cell systems to allow
much broader applications. We intend to file a patent application on the new
composite material design in the near future.''
''Conventional solid oxide cells operate at 900 degrees C'' stated Jim
Lumsden, Vice President of Research and Development. ''Global's new design
can produce significant amounts of power at temperatures as low as 650 degrees
C, a tremendous improvement over anything previously reported. We believe
that future versions of this design, optimized for performance, will achieve
even better results.''
''The output we have seen at 800 degrees C is almost double the amount we
have recorded on previous cells, and at 650 degrees C we are still making
substantial amounts of power. To the best of our knowledge, this material
breakthrough has resulted in one of the highest power densities reported for
commercial solid oxide fuel cells in the world to date. This fact is
important since operation at these lower temperatures in commercial cell units
will allow the use of conventional materials in the stack assembly. These
materials represent substantial cost savings over designs that operate at 900
degrees, where exotic alloys must be used to withstand the heat. Cell
lifetime will also be significantly increased,'' Global intends to use the
first commercial fuel cell systems to provide power in remote locations for
oil and gas and telecommunications applications.
Global Thermoelectric Inc. is the world's largest supplier of
thermoelectric power generation equipment for use in remote locations, and
produces crew compartment heaters for use in military vehicles. The
Calgary-based company is also quickly becoming a world leader in the fuel cell
development industry.
