MARCH 15 ~ One day it is clear to all the talking heads on television that ''tech'' is dead. A few hours go by and Dell and IBM make a deal and ''tech'' is alive. The day before the deal everyone told everyone who would listen that PC sales were diving, so get out now. But darn, a $16 billion agreement, that's real money and Dell must be looking to the future, which must look very bright to them. If one steps back and looks at a picture of the PC makers, you would notice that the stocks dip as spring approaches. Perhaps it is something in the air that causes this to happen. Whatever it might be, we doubt that PC sales have seen their peak.
