Oddly enough, it appears at first glance that a split run-up and post split sell-off are just myths. It actually is just the opposite. Now, all that said, current events are not factored into any of those prices. While looking at the historical data, I was amazed at how fast it took off after the split........that is when the stock begins to run, at least that's what the data shows.

We might see another split this year if:

1) The DOJ case closes by June, bad or good does not matter , as long as the pressure is released.

2) Office 2k released by April.

3) Win2k released by Nov.

4) Microsoft jumps into the internet business big time.
