Do you mean 15mb/sec??<< JCC, He's not talking about the "connect" rate when your modem makes the connection to the ISP but your throughput as when your downloading a file. HIs 15.5k certainly beats an analog modem but I'll bet he reports higher rates, especially if he tried downloading some files from Tucows download.tucows.com My ISDN connection can get some incredible throughput from them but Druggist has a 400k connection to my 128k. I'll be looking forward to his report! :-)

lets see... in my excitement I may have messed up... here in Springfield Mo, we have no ADSL, ISDN over 100a month, no cable modems, etc... so.. yes, for 20 bucks a month I am getting unlimited isp 50k through IBM.net... then for downloading I was getting late last night up to 50kb/sec download... even with my faster modem I was only downloading at best in the 5k/sec... so for ME, a jump from 5k/sec upto 50 for an extra 30 bucks a month is worth it, because THAT IS ALL we have to work with... I know, cable modems, etc beat the snot out of this, but , its all for not if you dont have it.. Hayes sat. advertises upto 400kbs download, but havent seen anything near that yet.... druggist
