Herm et al.

I'm looking at something a little like the CS Leaps-CC that Herm posted.

what do you think of Informix (IFMX)......closed at 7 15/16 on Friday.

I'd buy 10 contracts of the January 2001 10 LEAPS @3.5 debit $3,500
and...(I know it'd be best to wait)

we could CC at Friday's close numbers.....selling the August 10 CC for 1 3/16 (1.19) for a credit of $1,190. So we're into the position...for 3500-1190=$1710.

Herm is this at all like your CS Leap-CC?...I know numbers aren't as good...and we'd collect more CC premie by waiting a bit on the stock...it's a bit in a short term downtrend....usually trades between 5 and 10....although was up to 12 recently. Haven't looked yet at earnings, etc

If you wanted to do an aggressive side show...you could sell the August 7.5 puts for 15/16 - $1.00
