VLAD, at least Samsung has completed the first 2 Drillships Pathfinder and Frontier(of the 4 scheduled) ahead of schedule..Again, I have been unable to find any mention of Dayrates for these ships..only the joint ventures with Conoco(references to trading off time for the vessel,6months Conoco,then 6 months Falcon[FLC I think then contracts it's 6 months out-would love an explaination as to how this works])..I even looked through the 96/97 Dupont filings, before looking at Conoco's and FLC's-can't find the details...DD
PS: I did see rates at $199k per day for the the semisubmersible "RBS8M",then a bit cheaper on options
