In addition, Baltimore will support TCOS smartcards in their PKI solutions. OnlinePass combined with Baltimore's MailSecure enables email users to exchange secure authenticated messages with the assurance that the data cannot be read, altered or deleted. MailSecure enhances existing email packages, including Microsoft Outlook and Eudora, by enabling users to digitally sign and encrypt email messages and file attachments. Security is provided using advanced encryption and authentication in conformance with the new S/MIME standard for Internet email. MailSecure's open standards based design allows easier integration with hardware technology such as smartcards.
