I think Daniel nelieves that if he simply ignores his current troubles they will go away. Not very realistic.

Chris, I guess you were just a more reasonable 15 year old than I was.

Daniel will learn. You just gotta remember he is a kid and as such still has a limited, and probably fairly rose colored, world view. It is just not the kind forgiving place he would like it to be.

Let's see what happens the next month or so. ABFG should give him pause and a chance to rethink many things he thought he knew.
