Melinda, res <<<What I fail to understand is why people who consider themselves Christians would verbally bash Gods children.>>> Here is the difficulty Melinda. How do you define bash? Do you mean not one word should be spoken against the behavior? Do you mean if someone doesn't support legislation setting up special rights for homosexuals they are bashing? Do you mean if someone condemns the behavior as being amoral, or against their religios belief's it's bashing? You see, bashing is just one of those liberal speak terms used as their own justification to judge and condemn. "Bashing" or the belief in it's term is in the eye of the believer. Nothing more, nothing less. Do you have a greater moral right to bash Christians? Conservatives? Jerry Falwell, the Pope, or anyone else who doesn't subscribe to your belief's? Now, do I believe in bashing gay's? (as I term the word bashing) No I prefer to judge people individually until they show a gross propensity to think only on the group level. Most gay's are wonderful law abiding citizens who pay taxes and work as hard as the next person. It's the far left wing wacko gays which want special rights and privileges because of who they choose to sleep with in bed that I'm personally against. If Joe wants to sleep with Bill, why can't Joe and Bill do it without whining for special rights? Dividing up America into a million different groups is the hallmark of left wing liberal philosophical belief's. Whether it be African Americans, Native Americans, Chinese or rich vs poor. It does nothing but lead to divisiveness and strife. Why liberals can't see the simple logic in the belief that we are all just Americans is beyond my understanding. Simply Americans! Why is that such a tough concept for liberals to accept? Equal rights I believe was mentioned once or twice by the framers of the Constitution. Michael
