red,
The usual way a takeover is accomplished for as little money as possible, is to set up and fund some proxies to open accounts and quietly buy up to 9.9% each prior to an offer (Teck supposedly did this with Afton many years ago-I had to suffer hearing participants brag about how they "circumvented" exchange rules using this method). This is usually evidenced by very disciplined buying where the price appears relatively firm, regardless of how low the volume drops.....Third parties sometimes will also buy a large position in an attempt to get into a position to be "king maker"(for special consideration of course). As soon as any one brokerage house confirms that the company is in play, the stock will then take off. The plot thickens.......
regards,
teevee

Well well, it appears that the countdown to liftoff has begun. I have not had any confirmations, however, I sensed it a couple of days ago.

If so, watch out, all southern NWT diamond plays will be on fire fire fire fire.

If Winspear hits pipe at Hilltop: SND will go for a very good run. I do not own any, but should if this is the case.

If Winspear hits pipe at Snap: IAR and KLA might go for a very good run. I own IAR (Island Arc).

GO WSP GO

This is getting real exciting..
