Before the bell Cox Communications (COX) announced a 2 for 1 split. They are a telecom company and have options available. They don't trade millions of shares a day, often around 250,000, but they can make nice moves. On the day they gained almost 2. One thing to note about them is that they don't have the smoothest chart in the world. They tend to trade fairly choppy with quick strong moves up followed by some prolonged weakness. The split could give them quite a boost though. Aon Corp (AOC) announced a 3 for 2 split Friday, and they also have options available. They aren't quick movers, but carry a decent enough daily volume (about 300,000 shares per day) to be tradable.
