victor--- I agree with your assesessment of the IBM/DELL merger being the pipe dream of some. Probably including MD himself. IBM would find it much less expensive to mount a fight for mkt share from all suppliers. IBM can make money with the present situation and have the best of both worlds. Should the impossible happen all boxmakes would have tremendous competition from the buying power alone. Not to mention the weight of the combined names with IBM business contacts. CPQ and others are feeling DELL presence in the med/small business sector now..
I find it disheartening to see the loss of 6.8 MM institutional shares and more so as the number of institutions rises..
Holding on to mine also and may add on a rise especially if it bounces of 28...
