Ken,

What are your alternative sources of water, other than the friggin' tap??

I have a pond behind my place filled by treated effluent. In a pinch, I can filter with my "Big Berkey" and sterilize that water by adding either a small amount of bleach or tincture of iodine.

And if that pond runs dry, I have several lakes and the Potomac River I can rely upon.

And the utilities will be down, if they are down at all, as long long as they are down. People survived Hurricane Andrew, the Ice Storm up in Maine/Canada, the Mississippi floods, and a variety of other "acts of god", all of which disrupted power for long periods of time in their areas.

Those people made it through because they didn't worry themselves to death over what could happen, but rather with what DID happen.

I get the feeling that you think people are going to just fall into a state of utter catatonic fear like yourself. You're so worried about a "potential" future of utter disaster that you can't even pondere one that doesn't incorporate riots, massacres, mass looting, and the onset of the New World Order.

However, whether or not you care to consider it possible, it is just a viable a scenario as anything you speculate over.

I'm begining to pity you Ken. You must lead a fear-filled life, as you await the onset of the wrath of god upon humanity.

What's wrong?? You expected to live forever??
