Dan,
Bush received the shares of Global Crossing when they were a private company in Feb. 1998. Global Crossing trades $48-$50/share and has split 2 for 1 already this year, since getting listed in August 1998. His shares were worth about .50-.55/share when he got them, if my calculations are correct split adjusted. This shows the potential of a well positioned LISTED telecom stock. Oh, BTW, Global Crossing Ltd. has yet to show a profit. Trading range since being listed on 8-14-98........... 8--62 5/8........in a little over seven months of trading.
