Agreed Kimberlite maybe soft but with granite being very hard I have my doubts if it would be caving in,besides nothing that shoring it up
wouldn't fix.I have been in a few old mines in southern BC that are closed and we have walked right into the mountain with only shoring ever so many feet and they are still open no cave inns. One mine really comes to mind. This mine had tunnels everyware and we toured most of them as well that mine had upper and lower levels. At one point we came
to a huge opening that was at least 300x300' wide open as they mined it.But besides I see no problem Mining Snap Lake.If De-Beers buys out Winspear you can bet that De-Beers may set up a mine over at Mpv and then truck material from snap lake. But will all see what happens over the next little while.
