You are tough! (RE: my use of "which" for "that".) I am pretty rigid, but I can't get very enthusiastic about such a "nice" distinction. Two examples (admittedly archaic):

1. Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice:

PORTIA. The quality of mercy is not strain'd;
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest --
It blesseth him that gives, and him that takes.

2. Anglican/Episcopal Book of Common Prayer:

Thou that sittest at the right hand of the God the Father,
have mercy on us.

That "ice tea" business also makes my skin crawl.
