When I bought Dell a few weeks ago, I thought I was getting a growth company with outstanding momentum. Little did I know that I was really getting a value stock. ;-)

++++++++

Ticker TTM P/E For P/E PSR ROE
DELL 75.9 54.4 5.61 75.0
AMZN NE NE 35.67 NE
AOL 542.0 350.7 33.71 17.6
CSCO 127.4 71.1 16.71 14.9
KO 47.5 45.9 8.84 44.9
MSFT 72.8 65.8 25.93 29.4
PFE 55.2 56.5 13.49 38.8
YHOO NM 447.4 167.67 4.8

Who would have thought that one could pick a set of very well known momentum stocks where DELL would have the lowest PSR yet the highest ROE?

Not me, that's for sure.

Ian.

We keep hearing all this jive about slowing PC sector yet we have reports like that one and the one about Japan, MSFT and INTC doing just fine, plus DELL large pipeline of orders. Baloney, it like this every year, nothing has changed other then more and more people getting connected and we have new CPU out. This slow down just doesn't add up.
