Hello teevee,

Actually, God's word the bible says, "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." I Timothy 6:10

Anyone whose motivation in "evangelism" is for personal gain has placed themselves in jeopardy according to this verse.

Everyone will even have to "give account for every idle word that they speak" come judgment day according to Matthew 12:36

The title of this thread is referring to God's word showing how someone can become rich in Jesus Christ and knowing here and now from the Bible's teachings that we can have assurance of salvation.

Not joining a church, no one reaching into your wallet, just between you and God. If you will go to the beginning of this thread and see for yourself how the bible says you can do this... #subject-22255

My prayer is that God will richly bless you this day and keep you in His care and that you will receive what he freely offers to you.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

God bless you,
John

---many people for some strange reason just give them their money....no questions asked....go figure?---

I can't speak for anyone other than myself, but when I give, I try to be sure that it goes to someone that will tell others that there is a very real Someone who loves them unconditionally. Unfortunately as you imply, there are many "evangelists" who spend the money for cars/expensive watches/big homes/etc./etc.

I'll bet that someday, my home will be "bigger and better" than theirs.

:-)

Hope that as you ask questions or at least make questioning comments, you are willing to see the sincerity of some of the replies.

Stay happy--
