Bill:

I used TurboTax to import several hundred trades. I have already made more than that this year. How many trades are you trying to import? Have you tried calling the TurboTax help phone number?

Let us know what you find out. If TurboTax has this problem, then it will screw a lot of us.

Good luck,
-Eric

Quicken and TurboTax

I haven't had a problem with the number of trades to be imported from Q into TTax, but there is a problem with the representation of short sales. Quicken reports a short sale as the product of 2 negative numbers, which makes TTAX freak out. So far as I know, the problem is insurmountable, tho Intuit could fix it with one line of code if it wanted to.
