Hi Emily -- Actually, I don't now how we're alerted. I just set up my first alerts today, myself. I imagine there'll be a pop-up window when an alert hits.

Has anyone else used the alerts yet?

If the Tracker window is open, alerts cause a sound event of some kind. Since my sound card is briefly non-functional, I get just a beep on the PC. You can look at the bottom of the Tracker window to figure out what is causing the alert. Note that the alert will continue to sound each minute (as near as I can tell) for as long as the event (a high or low) continues.
