IQ Charts doesn't use a browser, so I don't think it matters what browser you use...

I'm using Netscape Communicator 4.5, which has MRJ 2.1. I think you can download MRJ independent of your browser.

I didn't even look at the readme before setting up the Mac version. There's one package that includes the Java engine and one that doesn't. If you have OS 8.5, you can probably use the smaller one. If you have 8.0, you might need the one with the Java engine.

Just click on the file you downloaded (IQchart31_mrj.sit or similar). It should automatically be decompressed. Then look for the folder with the same name that's created. Click on the "IQChart installer". That will give you iqchart3 folder. Open that and click on IQChart31 and you're on your way.
