***Michael Murphy on PNLK***

ABCNEWS.com
Following TheStreet.com's Net Stocks '99
Summit, tech-stock expert Michael Murphy
came in for a live chat. Murphy is the long-time
editor of the California Technology Stock
Letter and author of the book Every Investor's
Guide to High-Tech Stocks & Mutual Funds,
which was just released in a second edition.
Murphy is forecasting a down year for Web
stocks, though he still likes the high-tech sector
overall.

I am focusing on B2B (Business To Business) with
companies like PNLK import/export over the Internet.
What do see for the long and short-term of B2B?

Michael Murphy at 7:16pm ET
Well, business-to-business will be much larger than the
consumer portion of the Net, there's no doubt. Pronet,
which is the company you're talking about, links
international traders through the net. It's a very low-priced
stock. There's a huge opportunity in taking costs out of
the transactions between businesses, which is what the
Net is really best at. So it's a very attractive area to us. <<<
