Wireless Telecom Adds Windows NT
File Access to MobileLogic Network
Services

Enables Secure Wireless Access to Files on
Corporate LAN

AURORA, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 1999--Wireless Telecom, Inc.(TM) announced
today that mobile PC users can now use its MobileLogic Network Services(TM) solution to securely
reach data on the NT file servers on their corporate LAN. MobileLogic is a Wireless Virtual Private
Network (WVPN(TM)), enabling anytime, anywhere access to information that resides behind the
corporate firewall.

''Our customers told us that they wanted more than just wireless access to email and public web data.
They wanted access to all the data sitting on their corporate LANs,'' said Robert Balgley, founder and
President, Wireless Telecom. ''Previously, this data has only been available to them while they were in
their offices or remotely via wireline dial-up. But now, by introducing secure access to their NT file
servers, users of MobileLogic can access secure corporate data anytime, anywhere wirelessly.''

MobileLogic is based on Ericsson Virtual Office (EVO) software that seamlessly extends corporate
local area networks beyond the confines of office facilities to include mobile users in the field, enabling
multiple users over various wireless networks to connect to Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, intranet,
and Windows NT-based networks.

''Given today's fast-paced, competitive business environment, IT managers are being challenged to
implement secure, reliable, cost effective solutions to enhance their mobile workforce,'' said Hans
Davidsson, vice president, Ericsson. ''Today's announcement underscores our commitment to bring
these solutions to enterprise customers around the world.''

In February 1999, Wireless Telecom announced SecurID integration, offering strong authentication for
remote access to the corporate network. This additional security option enables the same
authentication technique to be used for wireless remote access as for traditional wireline access to the
company network. In addition to the SecurID authentication, Wireless Telecom already offers its
MobileLogic WVPN users a combination of encryption and access control to protect secure data
behind a company's firewall while making it reachable from mobile PCs.

With the purchase of MobileLogic, corporate IS and IT managers receive a turnkey, outsourced
solution for their remote data access needs. Customers receive: Hardware - a wireless modem for
each mobile user's portable computer MobileLogic software - including client software for each mobile
PC and secure access to the MobileLogic wireless gateway server to wirelessly enable Exchange
messaging applications Network airtime - over the wireless data carrier of the subscribing company's
choice (AT&T CDPD, Bell South Wireless Data, circuit-switched PCS) WVPN server software -
installed on site to provide a secure link through the MobileLogic gateway to mobile users. Technical
support - hotline is available 5 days a week, 12 hours per day
