Who said Merrill is right? I'm telling you that they are wrong. I said that they're assessment represents the popular view and it is misleading. It is quite important to FORE just what aspect of the ATM/LAN market is slowing and what part is reviving in growth. Merrill is putting them all in one big category, but that outlook doesn't hold if FORE is angling for the portion that is reviving. I get lots of institutional research and I wouldn't have made the claim "popular" if it didn't represent what the plodders were saying. I do admit institutional research and especially Merrill's is somewhat useless and always backward looking.
