True, but MD has come out before to say that "everything's fine" and his silence is atypical in this situation. There is no legally mandated quiet period right now, and he could talk if he wanted to. The fact that he's not concerns me as well. Aside from the fact that the stock is now down 10% in the past day and 1 hour...

Hi All,

The funny thing is that the reciprocal situation (if Dell beats earnings estimates) will not carry as much fanfare with the media bastards as today's "emergency alert" situation precipitated by DLJ and CNBC. Look for the Goddamn piling on to start now, and every SOB under the face of the sun will act like they have always foretold this day. It makes my stomach turn.

Well, I bought Dell for the very first time near 44 13/16 and 45 a few weeks ago, and now this. My timing, as usual sucks. Oh well, I'd planned on very long term anyway, but I sure didn't think we'd start like this. Where will this nightmare end??? 30? 25? How long should I wait to average down? We've easily crushed the resistance at 38 1/2.

The charts are pretty worthless now with this crazy panic selling. This is just insane, but like it or not, the consulting firms control the world, so I guess we have to play their game and average down. But where to enter now, and how soon? Some days, you just have to smile.

Long On Dell,
John
