lines to include the latest Intel(R) Celeron(tm) processor at 433MHz.
For its home and small business customers, Dell is offering the
newest Celeron processor on its Dimension V series. Prices for the new
systems start at $1,299 with 32 MB SDRAM, 128K integrated L2 cache,
6.4(1) GB Ultra ATA hard drive, 15-inch (13.8-inch v.i.s.) 800F
monitor, 8 MB 3D AGP graphics card, 32x Max(2) Variable CD-ROM Drive,
integrated Intel 10/100 Ethernet controller, Microsoft(R) Windows 98,
Microsoft(R) Office 97 Small Business Edition v.2.0 and McAfee Virus
3.1 and includes 30 free days(3) of Internet Access via Dell's
ConnectDirect(4) program. The Dimension V series desktop combines the
value-class Intel Celeron processor at 433MHz with features that
support games and graphic applications.
Prices for the OptiPlex G1 featuring the Celeron processor at
433MHz start at $949, including 32MB SDRAM, 4.3(1) GB EIDE hard drive,
integrated 3Com(R) 10/100 Ethernet controller, 2 MB integrated video
and factory-installed Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 95 in a low-profile
desktop chassis. With a Dell 800F 15-inch monitor (13.8-inch v.i.s.),
the price is $1,148. The OptiPlex G1 is well-suited for corporate and
institutional customers who require a value-priced PC that provides
manageability, reliability and performance in networked environments.
OptiPlex systems come with a standard three-year limited
