I'm not up to speed on the details of Dell's put/call activities. I was just mentioning the Forbes article.

I can tell you that many of the companies doing this have two "outs" usually in place. They of course have a stock buy-back plan and many of them also have agreements in place with the involved brokers that in the case of a market melt-down, they would just issue new stock! Crazy.
