Alan Greenspan has done a masterful job at the Federal Reserve and should be given great credit for the length and duration of this economic expansion. That being said, I usually have faith in the financial system because I believe that when faced with a potential meltdown, governments will change the rules to save the system, regardless of who bears the pain. If a real financial disaster strikes and we are unable to pass through it, I'll probably be looking for another job.
