I'll take a stab at this one. Do you want to own a huge multi-national corporation that is expecting a loss this quarter? Personally, the quality of management plays big when I choose stocks. That's why I bought Q. Ericsson's recent blunders do not inspire confidence in this regard to say the least. Do you think one deal with the Q could fix Ericsson's problems? I don't.

To put things into perspective;

QCOM 71 million shares outstanding
ERICY 1,949 million shares outstanding

ERICY closed today at 22 5/16
ERICY 50 day moving average 25.65
ERICY 200 day moving average 25.01

My personal opinion is this puppy hasn't come down to earth yet.

After all of Ericsson's public statements about CDMA IPR, I think there are still alot of ERICY shareholders that really believe ERICY invented CDMA. I think if and when a deal is announced, it might come as quite a shock to many ERICY shareholders just how negative the terms are. An announcement could be the start of another sell-off. I would exercise extreme caution in any case. That's my opinion.
