This software looks as if it can create a Schedule D formatted report direct from REalTick's csv files. Might be worth investigating.


StockTax98, from ObviousSoft costs $34.95. and works on Win 95, 98 and NT 4.0.
It works with all DATEK, E*Trade ... Transaction History, Daily Margin Reports, RealTick Trade CSV Files, or easy generic manual format.

What version of Quicken do you have? I am using Quicken '99 and did not have a problem with short sales importing into TurboTax. Maybe this is a problem they fixed with the Quicken '99 release???
