dot - purely hunch and may be out to lunch......

If future fundings are contemplated it would seem to be an easier sell trying to fuel the cash side of a situation with fewer shares o/s.

It appears the name of the game in the oilpatch, especially in the junior aquarium, is to either grow or die. The "grow" part often takes dollars. When things are trendy equity and bank debt appear a "relatively" easy commodity to hatch. When things are gloomier it would appear a harder task to accomplish. Fewer shares o/s make for a higher levered kick IF growth occurs on a per share basis.

p.m. sent your way.

Happy hunting.
