CSCO buddies, I has anyone heard that CSCO wants to buy QCOM? It's rumor that I'm spreading from the QCOM thread. Also, why would CSCO want QCOM? CSCO just stated they wanted to do small deals, QCOM might be too big a deal too.

Greg

Not to anyone in particular...

When I own a stock I hold it for an extended period of time, I don't trade. Part of my efforts "researching" in this area is to determine when to exit a stock. I find it more valuable to find information that forces me to decide whether to hold or sell. While some contributors on these threads use a bull horn to deliver this information, there is valuable information there. It doesn't mean it adds up, but I collect it. In fact I find the self congratulatory posts more annoying and deceiving.

A quick comment on the John Chambers trashing on the ASND thread...
I find most CEO pompous and arrogant. Chambers is not unique. He certainly has cultivated since his days at Wang. His comments about the ASND/LU merger being doomed may serve his interests but I personally find it distasteful. Again he is not alone. I found Mory Ejebat of ASND much worse as well as inarticulate for example.
