I agree, but why no interest in this stock? Look what's going on
with @home (ATHM) the last six months. Seems to me they are both
in the same business. Comcast has stayed even while @home is a
3 banger! Heck, even today big news has generated no activity. I would like to go long with this stock, but until I understand the fundamental differences I'm staying on the sidelines.

Brian Roberts was on Cnn tonight ; he gave an extremely credible explanation of the reasons for the deal; its worth seeing; economies of scale are now paramount in this business and it looks like the deal is aimed at providing increased content for cable users, interactivity with high speed modems for the whole system and eventually telephony; either with someone else (ie att or alone); I dont know what fair value is for the stock , but this co has had good cash flow growth for many quarters and eventually, this will end up in earnings; there is not limitless bandwith providers and this deal seems like a blockbuster to me; AOL is in need of fast access; and any way you look at this deal, it looks great for comcast , fwiw

Been in this one a couple of years - Invested a couple of weeks before
Bill Gates dropped millions into the company. Haven't looked back.

I think this one will continue to grow.
