G'day ejsdad - yes, it was mentioned here regarding MR Cramer's PUT [which should be unwinded by now if he didn't roll it up,] but his reason to hedge against his CSCO long was new to me until you mentioned it [Thank you.] I agree, this is a very strange hedge, although I can't think of a good hedge for CSCO. With thes internuts turning the market up side down and constant consolidations, the usual way of shorting the fluff or downtrodden may not work, so I guess shorting a great value stock may be a better choice [for him.] best, Bosco
