Bid.Com's auction site in 1998 was not the best. I suppose they were learning the tricks of the trade, and lining up lot's more stuff, so if they sold $20 million on that old site in 1998, on this new and improved BID.COM site they have for 1999, they should sell $100 million worth of stuff. A fantastic improvement.!!! This Internet auction is becoming quite a craze in the United States. tens of thousands must becoming involved every day. All this is good news for Bid.Com. IF they could only become known as the key Internet auction company for NHL hockey, they could make a fortune the way NHL hockey has caught on in the U.S. and areas like Nashville etc. They have some great stuff there from Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr, Pavel Bure, etc. BID.COM is Canada's #1 Internet Auction, and Hockey is Canada's National Sport. That should help them in negotiating with the NHL.
