I looked at a Nokia cell phone today which comes with a NiMH battery. Salesman touted the battery very positively. Are they licensees? If so, does anybody know what the royalty arrangement is?

No Jacq I don't, but.
ECD hoped to have the cd-rw issue resolved and an announcement by the annual meeting, but it looks like that is not going to happen. It wouldn't hurt for someone to ask about it at the meeting. I think it's good to keep the pressure on them from the shareholders.
Here are some royalty numbers from a respected optical industry analysts for DVD erasable disks. The analysts was commissioned by someone to compile sales figures of DVD erasable disks at factory prices from 1999 to 2002. The royalty numbers based on the 1% came out to $450,000,$1,850,000,$5,100,000 and $10,400,000 respectively.
Also if anyone wants to ask what the potential sales will be from the deal with the large roofing products company in Europe are. The deal where USSC will ship the raw photovoltaic material to the company that will in turn assemble it into their own roofing products.
