I remember being so mad at my husband for hogging our computer so he got me a Pentium II and a laptop for our teen-age daughter. Now, we have more computers in the house than TV. I also don't watch talk shows/soaps anymore . The Internet has opened a new world for me(a stay home mom). My retired in-laws also bought their very first computer and even enrolled in classes to learn on how to use it. We now e-mail each other a lot. My daughter and her friends are into brandname stuff so of course, no computer is good enough unless it has the Intel Inside logo. Pretty soon, I'll probably end up buying a Pentium III because my daughter prefers using my computer since it's faster than hers and her Dad's. I saw an ad for a Pentium III 500 Mghz (Monorail PC13114) with 17" color monitor for $1,499 at ValueAmerica. (You even get a $100 discount if you are a member). Linda
