Bingo, PPOD is hardly a workable model imo. People I know in NYC get the goods delivered by the store, after shopping, no problem. There are customers for PPOD,no doubt. But hardly enough to justify an investment, even long term. It's another one of those 'interesting ' ideas but hasn't got much hope of being profitable.
