That's quite a rumor! While I don't wish for war, I'll bet it takes a lot of oil product to have one(?)

There are a few US carriers and missile cruisers in the Gulf area yet. They would likely impair any plans Saddam might have to retake Kuwait.

Besides, if Iraq were to attack, even Clinton would quickly realize the difference between a United States national interest and a Balkan squabble.
