Shucks - covered my short a day too soon.

In my opinion, if there was some kind of deal with MSFT in the works (including the convertibles), it would have been announced commensurate with the placement, otherwise it would not have been an arms-length transaction.

Let's assume for a moment that the placement of the convertibles was to an unrelated third party. Rumors are floating about that MSFT wants to settle with the DOJ. Is there any way that a deal might be in the making where CTXS would license NT server from MSFT, and remarket it in competition with MSFT as part of a settlement with the feds? The cash raised in the convertible offering would be used to hire and pay developers and support staff, and the additional authorized shares would be used in part to pay for licensing the code. Does that make any sense?

My apologies if that has already been discussed - I may have missed some postings over the past couple of weeks.

Red:
Check this out.

thomsoninvest.net

No institutional selling.

Since everyone one has a theory, here is mine. Thinly traded stock with large swings and lots of MM manipulation.

I could be 100% wrong. as could any of the other posts I've read. Facts are, the price has gone down, anything else is speculation. IMHO.

Remember -what was it almost 2 years ago, all the speculation about Msft competing, one product company etc., etc., all turned out to be false and a great buying opportunity.

Good luck,

Ray
