AOL is, the AOL of the internet.

I'm not sure it's wise to compare 'box-makers' with a monthly fee(20 million by fall) based business like aol. The upside net income potential of aol, compared to dell, is like trying to generate the same horsepower of a turbine engine with an internal combustion engine. The power curve will flatten and there's no more 'well' to go to.

"Making things" has a limit to your profit... it's expensive and it gets harder every month to grow.

Monthly service providers like aol are in a league all their own. They keep getting checks in the mail.
